BAHIA PRINCIPE GOLF OPEN 2018

The third edition of the Bahia Principe Golf Open, held last weekend, was a resounding success. The registration and welcome cocktail the night before was the preamble to what is becoming the most anticipated tournament in the area. 

After breakfast, which was offered at the clubhouse, the more than 100 players began taking their places to start the tournament at 10:00 am sharp.

The tournament has been characterized as a convivial tournament where the entire complex, with the active participation of our sponsors and friends, make this an unparalleled event, where participants enjoy and have fun while playing on one of the best courses in the Riviera Maya.

The level of play and the number of prizes are also hallmarks of the Bahia Principe Golf Open. Players who managed to score a hole-in-one vied for prizes like a luxury property at Bahia Principe Residences Riviera Maya, a Porsche Boxter 2018 automobile or a golf cart.

The atmosphere on the course would not have been the same without the colorful stands that lined the course offering players unlimited food and premium beverages.

Not to mention the great prizes for shots closest to the pin in all the par-3s, like Bushnell rangefinders, Apple TVs, Go Pro cameras, Garmin GPS's, Ipods, Bose speakers, Bose wireless headphones, Oakley glasses, Go Pro backpacks, Apple Pencils, Google Home, wine coolers, etc., of course for the top 3 contestants.

The top 3 places on our list of winners went to the Dixons, who finished in first place for the second year in a row, with a score of 9 under par, followed by a tie for second place with 8 under par.

And then, the finishing touch: an exquisite dinner on the shores of the Caribbean Sea with an excellent atmosphere and live performances, setting the stage for the awards ceremony. The Dixons thanked the organizers for all the attentions received and expressed their happiness at being a part of the Riviera Maya Golf Club and Bahia Principe Residences, as they are members of the owners' association.
