For the second year in a row the best golf in the world has come to Mexico for the World Golf Championship – Mexico Championship. The Chapultepec Golf Club opened its doors to receive the best golfers and hundreds of fans, rewriting the history of golf in Mexico.

The World Golf Championship – Mexico Championship is part of the circuit of four World Golf Championships held at courses around the world. At the tournament, the best golfers tested their skills in a competition for one of the largest purses on the tour, with fans and members of the national and international press looking on.

Watching the likes of Phil Mickelson, Rory McIlroy, Justin Thomas, Adam Scott, Tommy Fleetwood, and others play is an absolutely unforgettable experience.

Bahia Principe was represented at the event by Riviera Maya Golf Club Director Arturo Martinez and Residences Marketing Manager Rodrigo Padilla. It was a perfect opportunity to develop closer relations with attendees and golf fans.

“It was very gratifying to hear all the attendees refer to our golf course as one of the five best in Mexico and clearly the best in La Riviera Maya… I would add that it is also the only golf course in Tulum, which is currently one of the most trendy destinations in Mexico,” stated Bahia Principe Residences Marketing Manager Rodrigo Padilla.

“The Bahia Principe course, the Riviera Maya Golf Club, is the best kept secret in the Riviera Maya, and we need to turn that around,” emphasized Golf Channel Country Manager Hugo Van Belle.
